Gender Sensitization Committee

Sexual Harassment is an offence under The Sexual Harassment of Women at workplace (prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 No. 14 of 2013. As per the Hon'ble Supreme court of India every instance of sexual harassment is a violence of "Fundamental Rights" under article 14, 15 and 21 of the constitution of India, and amounts to a violation of the "Rights to Freedom" under Article 19 )1) (g). The Supreme Court further reiterated that Sexual harassment "is a violation of the fundamental right to gender equality and the right of life and liberty.

Our college has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and is proactively committed to provide a safe work and academic environment to students and employees. We, at Northern Institute of Pharmacy and Research, Alwar are extremely alert to matters relating to any kind of harassment and gender sensitivity. Any female employee/student aggrieved in this matter may fearlessly approach the Convener of the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) against sexual harassment.
